Mojo-Fashions Launches Shopify Site for Build-A-Business Competition

It is official!! I may be only 17, but I finally got up the courage and decided to just to GO FOR IT. My mom (I mean our CEO) and I recently entered the Shopify and Huffington Post Small Biz Build-a-Business competition. Our site brings together two of my favorite things in the entire universe: Art and Fashion. Check it out http://www.mojo-fashions.myshopify.com. Would love your feedback and of course would greatly appreciate your sharing the love by passing it on! Winner will receive cash to help grow their business and will work with a mentor for guidance! In the Fashion category it is Daymond John (@TheSharkDaymond)! I really want to win this. Thanks to all of our fans and supporters. We LOVE you and appreciate your continued encouragement. Remember, B Brilliant, B Amazing, B U!

Urban Outfitters in Hot Water….Again

Depression? Really?

I normally try to stay away from controversy and politics, but as an owner of a children’s clothing company, I feel we have a responsibility to protect children and create clothing that promotes a positive self image. I am personally disgusted by #Urban Outfitters t-shirt promoting depression. While they have agreed to take the product off the shelves, the fact that they manufactured the product in the first place shows the company’s insensitivity and focus more on profits than on caring.

Mojo-Fashions In the News! Reading Eagle Feature Story on Justin Orlick

Berks County fashion designer, Justin Orlick, 17, finds inspiration in Third World Travels

I have been fortunate and blessed to travel to many third world countries to provide volunteer support for sustainability projects and education programs. I have travelled to Thailand, Vietnam and Peru. I have also travelled throughout Europe including Italy and France. I am always amazed by the people and inspired by the colors, textures, textiles and art around me. Whenever possible I try to incorporate these elements into my designs.

I am so honored to be featured in this Reading Eagle article.
